The Plan of Salvation

On Thursday morning I received a text message from my mom saying to call her it was urgent. When I called my brother told me that my uncle Matt had passed away unexpectedly. Matt is my dad’s youngest sibling. He was only 48. He leaves behind a wife and 4 kids. Uncle Matt was always one of my favorite relatives. He was kind, funny, and you could just tell that he loved you. I know that many of my cousins also really looked up to him.

Right now I am so incredibly greatful for the knowledge I have of the plan of Salvation. I know that this is not goodbye but merely see you later. I know that my uncle Matt is watching us. I know that we will miss him greatly, but I also know that we will see him again. I don’t know how our family would hold on without that knowledge. Thanks mom and dad for teaching me about the gospel and giving me something to hold on to right now.

Our clan consists Corey born Oct 2002, Madeline March 2008, Benjamin May 2009, and Leah July 2010. We have no plans of stopping any time soon. Come join us on the rollercoaster of pregnancy, birth, diapers, feeding, outings, and all the other craziness that ensues when you have a house full of little people.
